Printed in Chile in 1962, this 268-card set features one of the most desirable of Pele's 1962 issues. This set was issued in the host country of the 1962 World Cup, which Pele's Brazilian team would win despite Pele's injury in the third game forcing him to miss the remainder of the competition. The Brazilian team's triumph without their star showed the world how balanced their team was as Garrincha and Vava each led the team with four goals during the tournament, with Garrincha winning the Golden Ball Award as best player of the competition.
